June 6th - Lay-over in PA

June 6th
We woke up early, feeling even worse than yesterday? I’m wondering if this is more than just a cold? I hope not. Also, Rich was gone when I got up.

After breakfast the kids and I hit the road to Adamstown, PA. It was a really quick drive, just a couple of hours. We went to Ginny’s first so we could get our laundry started. Quick lunch, checked in at the hotel and then back to Gin’s.

I’m, for some reason, unable to use my wireless on my laptop…so I used Gin’s to check my e-mail. OMG, her computer was about 100 years old and it was dial –up. Need I say more? Her washing machine, for some weird reason, was also very slow! It was like being in a time warp…especially given that I was already out of it on cold medicine. We were there three hours and my throat was closing up from the cats. It was really hot too, no air conditioning. However, the children were divine, considering there was no TV, Wii, toys, or computer that they could access.

After a mediocre dinner at the local diner…we retired to the Black Forest Inn, for an early bed time.

Please let me feel better tomorrow!
